Health, Safety & Environment Drug & Alcohol Policy

Tenbex Engineering Sdn Bhd (TESB) strictly prohibits the consumption or being under the influence of drugs and alcohol which would impact the work performance and impose a serious threat to the Health, Safety and Environment at our business operations. In order to ensure full compliance to our Policy on eliminations of alcohol and drug abuse, the following measures are being implemented such as:
  1. Prior to employment with TESB, prospective employees are to undergo medical screening on drugs and alcohol;
  2. Continuously promote a working environment with zero tolerance on drugs and alcohol abuse;
  3. Total prohibition of possession, distribution or sales of alcohol beverage, illicit or un-prescribed controlled drug, drug paraphemalia, or misuse legitimate prescribed drug at every TESB work location;
  4. Random test on drugs and alcohol in a situation where drugs or alcohol abuse has been detected;
  5. Conduction comprehensive investigation after an incident or accident has occurred, whereby the possibility of alcohol or drugs might have been a contributing factor;
  6. Unannounced periodic or random testing on employees to be conducted as deemed necessary by TESB;
  7. Conduct lawful searching for alcohol and drug at any work area or location;
  8. Employees found to be in a possession or under the influence of drugs and alcohol are subjected to disciplinary action that included immediate employment termination
